Partnering with Breedon Aggregates and Scotland TranServ, Webfell Minerals have completed the Crack & Seat works on the A9 Faskall, Scotland totalling 15,000m?. Split into four phases, works commenced on the Northbound carriageway in February 2011. The Southbound carriageway and Northbound & Southbound tie-ins were completed in March 2011.

All the work was carried out using the Guillotine Breaker.

One main trial was carried out where hole cores were taken to measure the transverse cracking. It is crucial not to over crack on this type of reconstruction.
